Where does your membership fee go?
The membership will maintain the launch sites and the wind-meter on top of Mt. Swansea.
Further the fees goes towards the lease maintenance of the landing field.
We are currently in the process to re-establish Canal Flats as a flying site and your membership will also help with this project.
Projects since 2013 include:
- Weather Station and Wind Meter including online logging and current data.
- maintenance to buy new equipment (batteries, camera, anemometer)
- Mt. Swansea webcams
- Mt. Swansea launch site improvements including landscaping, flag and windsocks
- Mt. Swansea Hang Glider ramp upgrade
- Mt. Swansea LZ site lease, maintenance, including windsock and signage
